The foundation
Data has value.
People need control.
Powerful knowledge calls for accountable use. Define acceptable uses and consent requirements, limit data access, and give people a way to question decisions and report misuse.
Data sovereignty
Define who controls information, where it may be processed, who may access it, and when it is retained or deleted.
Integrity
Keep sources, versions, approvals, changes, and unresolved questions traceable.
Human judgment
Assign accountable owners and preserve meaningful review, correction, escalation, and challenge.
How it works
A policy with a visible scope.
01
Define
Name the organization, covered AI uses, data boundaries, and responsible owner.
02
Adopt
Review the issued policy against the organization’s actual practices and record accountable approval.
03
Display
Connect the adoption mark to a policy version, stated scope, review date, and status.
04
Maintain
Keep versions, changes, reviews, and subscription coverage current.
Policy kit
Documents people can use.
Issued policy
A fixed policy document for the agreed scope, with an accountable owner, approval record, version, and review date.
Adoption record
Covered tools and uses, prohibited uses, approved data flows, and human review checkpoints.
Integrity records
Tool and vendor review, incident reporting, correction, and policy-change records.
Public statement
A concise account of adopted scope and responsibilities, without exposing confidential records.
Subscription levels · In development
Three levels. One Shield.
Start with a standard policy or work with us on the needs of your industry, organization, and locations. Policies are issued as fixed documents; customization is handled through an inquiry.
All three levels use the same Ethara™ Shield website mark. Its accompanying policy record should identify the covered organization, scope, version, issue date, and next review date.
Display concept only. Adoption wording is shown as a sample.
Display permission follows the subscription and agreed scope. The mark communicates policy adoption; it does not establish independent certification or regulatory approval. Industry and Enterprise pricing is confirmed after scoping. Renewal and display terms are set in the agreed plan.
The human foundation
Research and public-interest writing on context, evidence, institutional accountability, and responsible technology. Within Ethara™, Shield focuses on ethics and AI governance; eOrbit™ carries the creator-rights connection through project, authorship, and contribution records.
